TB-500 Dosage: Common Protocols Explained

TB-500 (a synthetic fragment of thymosin beta-4) is a staple in the recovery community, usually run for soft-tissue repair and flexibility. Protocols differ from most peptides because they're weekly, not daily — here's what commonly reported use looks like.

Typical dosing structure

Unlike daily peptides, TB-500 is usually dosed weekly, split into two injections:

  • Loading phase: 4–8 mg per week (e.g. 2–4 mg twice a week) for the first 4–6 weeks
  • Maintenance phase: 2–4 mg per week, or one dose every two weeks, after the loading phase

It's typically injected subcutaneously. Because the half-life is longer than most peptides, exact timing matters less than consistency week to week. See the TB-500 entry in the peptide library for benefits, side effects and administration notes.

Working out your syringe units

TB-500 vials are commonly 5 mg or 10 mg. A 10 mg vial mixed with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water is 5,000 mcg/mL, so a 2.5 mg (2,500 mcg) dose is 50 units on a 100-unit insulin syringe. The full math walkthrough is in our reconstitution guide and BAC water guide.

The Wolverine stack: TB-500 + BPC-157

TB-500 is most famous as half of the "Wolverine stack" alongside BPC-157 — TB-500 for systemic repair and flexibility, BPC-157 for more localized tissue and gut support. A common reported layout is TB-500 twice weekly plus BPC-157 daily.

If you run both, track them as separate compounds: different vial sizes, different concentrations, different schedules. LogMyPeptides supports named stacks with independent vials, schedules and logs per compound, plus a combined dashboard view across the whole stack.

What to track during a cycle

  • Weekly totals — loading vs. maintenance phases blur together fast without a record
  • Effects — flexibility, soreness, recovery time; weekly dosing makes week-over-week trends the signal that matters
  • Side effects — some users report head rush or lethargy shortly after injection; noting timing helps you adjust when you dose
  • Injection sites — twice-weekly injections still add up over a 6-week load; rotate sites to protect tissue (see our rotation guide)

Human research on TB-500 is limited, so your own log is the best data you have. LogMyPeptides charts doses and effects over time and summarizes what's actually changing across a cycle.
